Vegan Caramel

Decadent Vegan Caramel


Ingredients


  • 1 cup of coconut cream

  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar

  • pinch of salt

  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla paste or extract


Directions


  • Add the coconut cream and sugar to a pot

  • Bring the mixture to a boil stirring constantly, turn the heat to low and cook for 25 mins on a low heat stirring regularly

  • Remove the caramel from the stove and add the salt and vanilla

  • Transfer to a container and allow the caramel to cool before popping on the lid

  • Store in the fridge for up to a week
